We're back with another Hunt Companion! As we roll into December, it's time to shift into the late-season mindset. With rifle seasons in full swing, we're sitting back and hoping the deer we're after make it through. As the temperatures drop, food becomes a critical element in our late-season strategy. The rut is winding down, and soon the deer will become patternable again, especially during daylight hours. Now is the time to sit back, observe, and see what unfolds.
