AL Hi

The section on epistemological aspects of the American public is significant. We used to get our news from somewhat limited, though diverse, news sources. That is no longer true today. We get information from SO many sources, it's difficult to them nor determine if the sources are credible. This barrage of information seems to be a factor in the polarization of American society and the breakdown of civil debate and the unwillingness to listen to the "other side." We no longer can evaluate the truth.
