Hr: Pod jarkim jesenskim suncem, Plitvička jezera blistaju u svoj svojoj ljepoti.
En: Under the bright autumn sun, the Plitvička jezera shine in all their beauty.

Hr: Javorovo lišće u nijansama crvene i zlatne boje sjaji duž staza koje vode oko tirkiznih jezera.
En: Javorovo leaves in shades of red and gold glow along the paths that lead around the turquoise lakes.

Hr: Ivan i Ana hodaju ispred svojih roditelja.
En: Ivan and Ana walk ahead of their parents.

Hr: Oboje uživaju u šuštanju lišća pod nogama, ali njihovi osjećaji su daleko od sklada prirode oko njih.
En: Both enjoy the rustling leaves under their feet, but their feelings are far from the harmony of the nature around them.

Hr: Pokušava započeti razgovor: "Ivan, pogledaj ovu vodu! Nije li prekrasna?"
En: She tries to start a conversation: "Ivan, look at this water! Isn't it beautiful?"

Hr: Ivan samo kimne, ne želeći pokazati unutarnje nemire.
En: Ivan just nods, not wanting to reveal his inner turmoil.

Hr: Prođe neko vrijeme i obitelj dođe do drvene platforme s koje se pruža pogled na prelijepi slap.
En: Some time passes, and the family reaches a wooden platform offering a view of a beautiful waterfall.

Hr: Ivan se približi rubu, ne pazeći dovoljno na korake.
En: Ivan approaches the edge, not paying enough attention to his steps.

Hr: I tada, jednim klizavim potezom, izgubi ravnotežu.
En: And then, with one slippery motion, he loses his balance.

Hr: Odjednom, naleti panika.
En: Suddenly, panic hits.

Hr: Ana, brzo kao munja, stiže do brata i uhvati ga.
En: Ana, quick as lightning, reaches her brother and grabs him.

Hr: Njeno lice je ozbiljno, ali oči tople.
En: Her face is serious, but her eyes are warm.

Hr: "Ive, pazi! Sve će biti u redu", kaže nježno dok ga povlači natrag na sigurno.
En: "Ive, be careful! Everything will be okay," she says gently as she pulls him back to safety.

Hr: Taj kratki trenutak promijeni nešto duboko u Ivanu.
En: That brief moment changes something deep within Ivan.
