As you may have heard yesterday. President Cyril Ramaphosa has ordered an investigation into the circumstances that led to the recruitment of seventeen South Africans who were allegedly duped into fighting in the Russia-Ukraine conflict. A statement from the Presidency notes that 16 of the men are from KwaZulu-Natal, while one is from the Eastern Cape.
