Description

"If you have ever been down to Jackson Square and wondered if New Orleans’ iconic cathedral was haunted, well today, you are gonna find out."

The image of the St. Louis Cathedral protruding up into the sky from behind Jackson Square has become one of New Orleans's most iconic images. The site, which sits in the heart of the French Quarter, was once the center of government for the Crescent City, but today it is filled with tourists on their way to grab beignets, get the cards read or take a carriage ride through the city. Of course, the square wasn't always this bustling with energy and, as a result, some claim the famed cathedral is haunted by the spirits of clergy who once walked these streets.
