Starting a revolution. One woman's mission to change AF culture with Amy Armstrong
In this episode I chat with Amy Armstrong from Port Fairy, Victoria who at 10 months sober at the time of recording is on a mission to have more alcohol free options in the restaurants and bars around Australia and she is succeeding, one town at a time. Amy had struggled with binge drinking for years stuck in the cycle of drinking, black out, shame, repeat she had enough and through the suggestion of a friend she joined Annie Grace's, The Naked Mind one month sobriety course and has been alcohol free since. Focusing on self love she was able to change her mindset and start to make better choices for herself. While they are not for everyone , Amy prefers alcohol free (AF) wines, beers and bubbles to get through social events and finds they make her feel as though she is not "missing out", she still has a great time minus the crippling hangovers or black outs. Amy has joined forces with the @sober_sommelier Sarah Connelly get more AF options in our hospitality venues to sign the petition please go to
