CEO Cristobal Alonso of the Estonia-based firm Startup Wise Guys joins us to chat about the announcement of the first €25m capital secured for their €45m raise and their 400th startup investment.

– The money will be used to expand its network of accelerators and invest in a minimum of 200 startups from mostly across Europe and Africa in 2023/24

– In addition to CEE countries, Startup Wise Guys has opened offices in Italy, Spain, and Africa where it sees big potential.

– It made 120 early-stage investments in 2022, and hopes to go bigger in 2023.
