Statesman Shots @ 2017 SXSW #2: Los Pollos Hermanos and other TV activations
Description
There was no chicken, but plenty of curly fries when we visited the Los Pollos Hermanos activation downtown to celebrate the return of AMC’s “Better Call Saul” (itself a prequel to “Breaking Bad,” where the character Gus Fring’s chicken restaurant was a key location. In this audio dispatch, Omar and Tolly talk about why this TV installation differs so much from one for Hulu’s “Handmaid’s Tale,” which surprised us as we were heading over to Los Pollos.
