OMG. you guys are usually pretty accurate with your assessments, but your analysis on how trade and tariffs work and the relationship of tariffs to the great depression is just completely wrong. firstly, you completely miss the point of the tariffs. three point of tariffs is not to force people to have goods travel thru our country to other final destinations. the point of the tariffs is to move the American economy towards purchase and use ours American made materials, tools, products, etc. BAD
