Haley Minnery is a sophomore at Washington and Lee University from Northern Virginia. She studied in a fully immersive program in Costa Rica and is fluent in Spanish. Even though she's American, Haley is highly involved in multicultural events on campus and is friends with many international students. She has the unique experience of both, being an international student and observing one getting settled in a new country because she has been Veronika's roommate since their freshman year. Join Haley and Veronika in discussing adaptation to a new country, the culture of Costa Rica, multilingualism, the danger (or not?) of deer in Virginia, and much more in the first episode of Veronika with a K!
