Description

This 1971 American independent blaxploitation action thriller film was written, co-produced, scored, edited, directed, and starred in by Melvin Van Peebles. His son Mario Van Peebles also makes an appearance in a small role, portraying the title character as a young boy. The film narrates the adventurous journey of a poor black man fleeing from the white police authorities.
