📢 207,255 cases of syphilis in the United States in 2022; that is an 80% increase since 2018 per the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). 1.6 million cases of chlamydia, 650 reports of gonorrohea, and to add to those syphilis numbers, 3800 cases of syphilis among newborns. What are we doing? Really, we've got to do better in removing the stigma behind STIs and make treatment more accessible.
