TAN vs. TANTO: ¿cuándo se usa cada uno?
Tan y tanto son dos palabras muy cortas del español, pero generan mucha confusión: tan es una contracción de tanto. Vamos a dividir esta lección en tres partes con el uso de tan, tanto y sus frases hechas.
TAN en español – ¿cuándo se usa?
Cuando hablamos de tan, estamos hablando de adjetivos y adverbios. En estos casos, se usa para medir o dar nuestra opinión; hablamos de si algo es importante, caro, bonito o no, entre otros.
Por ejemplo:
- «Eso no es tan importante.»
- Estamos comparando. Es verdad que no decimos «tan importante como», pero va implícito dentro de la frase: «eso no es tan importante como otra cosa que sí.»
- «Mi dibujo es tan bonito como el suyo.»
- Estamos comparando ambos dibujos y están al mismo nivel
