Carley was best known to many New Orleans fans as the in-game host for the Pelicans and Saints, bring her energy and smile to every arena and stadium she worked. Beyond her role with the Pelicans, Carley built a career as a respected sports journalist whose kindness and passion left a lasting mark on colleagues and fans. Since her tragic passing in 2019, Karen has worked to keep Carley’s legacy alive and does so with her book Only Rainbows, a story of faith and resilience. It’s a conversation about love, loss, and the enduring spirit of a woman who will always be remembered in the New Orleans sports community.
