RED FLAG 🚩 !!! A ubiquitous term used in today’s world to describe characters, traits, behaviours or attributes that could be toxic to another person or party in question, particularly from relationship perspectives.

Red Flag is often used to depict what people wouldn’t be able to put up with in a person they probably see as a potential spouse and as such, conclude on being incompatible with such a person.

With this knowledge, it’s safe to say that we people have become more aware of what they wouldn’t want or wouldn’t be able to put up with in a potential spouse or partner. However, can we then say that people are ‘TOO CONSCIOUS’ of red flags in the opposite gender these days, so much that all they look out for (the most) are traits that will help them easily write someone off as qualified for a spouse or partner? Do we think that there is so much focus on the negative side of human beings rather than the positive (especially in this context of relationships)? Do we think the concept of RED FLAGS has been overflogged in recent times?
