Dr. Jayant Bapat, who migrated to Melbourne in 1960, holds dual PhDs and is a respected researcher and author of numerous publications focused on Hindu deities. Mr. Makarand Bhagwat serves as the head of the Hindu Council of Australia in Victoria and is a recognized Hindu Civil Marriage Celebrant, Hindu Chaplaincy member, and representative of the Faith Community Council of Victoria.
In this episode, we aim to scratch the surface of understanding how the Indian diaspora has evolved over the past 60 years in Australia.
