Terry Pettis starred under Coach McKenzie at Patrick Henry High, and he headed to Fresno State on a full basketball scholarship. He's accepted responsibility for a conviction in 2006 that has him serving a life sentence in the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, and he's embraced "The Creed" that Coach McKenzie required every player to recite and memorize to inspire him to be a leader in his family and prison community.
