That Evening Football Show – Episode 51
Description
One of the things we love about doing live shows is that we never know what technology will throw at us when we are about to kick off. We also cannot control situations where Ben got himself locked out of his house, and Dave joined late despite trying his hardest to come back on time from work. A bit of a triple whammy this time round, but when live (pun-intended) gives you lemon, make sure to have Jonny nearby! It was a stroke of luck that he agreed to take part, so that he was here to carry the show together with Ricky until the rest of them team is back. Imagine listening to a Ricky monologue…we will leave this to your imagination…
We were to supposed to start the show with the aftermath of the Manchester United vs Everton game, but instead, we talked about the weather and the November international break first.
It feels like a permeant segment over the past few episodes to talk about Liverpool’s woeful form. Another game, another loss, Dave has had enough. He made his wildest prediction yet: Liverpool to get one point in the next three games, Slot to go, Klopp comes back and manages the club until he kicks the bucket….This alone is worth a listen!
The opening intro is added in post-production. We could have edited it out, but what is the fun in that? Also, just to pre-warn you, the TEAMS ringing tone that came on during the show was from us, not your boss calling!
Now that you are aware of the chain of (unfortunate) events in the making of this episode, you can sit back, relax and enjoy the show!
Hosted by Ricky Wong, Ben Grounds and Dave Naylor and Jonny Ollerenshaw
