Description
When famed violinist Erica Morini died in 1995, she didn't know a terrible truth. Her violin - a Stradivarius worth millions of dollars - was gone. To this day, it has never been found.

The writers clearly didn’t consult any actual musicians regarding how Strads’ quality can’t be defined or quantified. Any violinist know that certain instruments just have a certain “thing” that makes them special. Instruments handmade by a specific person will obviously have the stamp of the maker’s style on them!! My violin is no Strad but I wouldn’t trade it for anything because it’s an extension of me when playing. Plus many Strads are made extra special by the owners who play them!
