She is an Adoptee educator, passionate about educating communities about facilitating conversations around identity and the adoptee identity when in the classroom or at home. She reviews and evaluates adoptee literature for educators, librarians, and families.

We dive into her adoption story, her Guatemalan roots, and why preserving legacy and creating supportive language for Adoptees and Fosters through literature is so important to her.
