We reflect on Sewing’s defence of the vital need for strong European banks and capital markets and we reflect on what that might mean for consolidation and banking union. We also discuss possible regulatory responses in the US to the turmoil in March – and chat to Vilas Kuchinad, head of innovation in Bank of America’s global sustainable finance group, about the bank’s work relating to sustainable aviation fuel.
