After centuries of prophecy and expectation, the promise is fulfilled—the Savior is born. Mary visits Elizabeth, and John leaps in the womb, confirming God’s hand at work. Mary sings a song of praise, Zechariah prophesies about the Messiah, and at last Jesus is born in Bethlehem, conceived by the Holy Spirit, without sin. Angels announce the good news to shepherds, while Simeon and Anna recognize the Redeemer in the temple. God proves once again that He is a promise-keeper, sending His Son at just the right time.
