In this episode, I’m weaving together the threads of sacred embodiment, Samhain magic, and the collective awakening that’s unfolding across our world right now.

I begin by sharing about my experience inside The Living Temple—a global space of devotion, ceremony, and remembrance—and how it’s been guiding me to see the body as both a sacred vessel and a reflection of the larger collective body we all belong to. As we move through Samhain, the festival that honors the thinning of the veil between worlds, I explore what it means to tend to both our inner and outer worlds: the ancestors we carry within, the stories ready to be shed, and the new frequencies of consciousness that are coming online.

From there, I follow the thread into our shared reality—what’s happening in the U.S. right now with the government shutdown, the slashing of healthcare, and the potential loss of food assistance programs like SNAP and WIC. It might sound like a big leap, but for me, it’s all connected. When we talk about the sacred body, we’re also talking about the collective body. When we talk about nourishment and pleasure, we’re also talking about access, care, and the right for every being to thrive.

I share the lay of the land politically, not from a place of division but to help us see the larger story unfolding—and how this moment is asking us to rise in community care, compassion, and collective action. I offer tangible ways to get involved, from donating to local food banks to organizing small neighborhood giving efforts, and I reflect on how this kind of grassroots care is part of the new world we’re weaving together.

This conversation is about awakening to the truth that pleasure, politics, and the sacred are not separate. They are threads of the same tapestry—calling us home to our humanity, our power, and our responsibility to one another.
