Starting to find my groove!  In this episode I share a story that was a pivotal moment for me as a QVC Host, and I'm reminded of it today after recording my "stiff & know-it-all-esque" episode 1 yesterday.  The experience I had years ago with The Cat Sweater helps me articulate what I mean by speaking from the narrative of the customer to make a connection.  I had to put my ego aside and look at the sweater through the consumer lens and appreciate the quality craftsmanship & detail and the overall cheeriness the sweater would bring to tons of people.  Once I started to mentally approach it from this perspective, it felt great to go on air and speak genuinely about the whimsy & fun of Quacker Factory clothes.  I adore my friend & mentor, Jeanne Bice, and I miss her dearly.
