"Liberal" is a centrist position. the candidates and policies they're calling liberal are Progressive or trying to appeal to progressives. The Daily does have a strong Neo-Liberal bias, as does the NY Times. They also omitted Tulsi Gabbard.

Calvin Unruh I thought the same thing when they started with Bernie Sanders as the farthest left. Yang is proposing a universal basic income, which goes beyond what Sanders is proposing.
