Description
In this Dateline classic, a sheriff detective's daughter -- who'd been kidnapped -- did what she'd been taught. She called 911. So did her husband. So did horrified witnesses. They all thought help would be on the way. They were wrong. Dennis Murphy reports. Originally aired on NBC on July 26, 2009.
That's why protocols have to be followed. Maybe, just maybe she would have been saved. Heartbreaking...
Another person from Michigan...back to story.
This case hass many podcasts made about it...and after listening to one, I can't listen to any more. I makes me so angry at the useless police and 911 in this case, I can't even listen to it.
this one is so sad. she should have been rescued
is it me our does it sound fast?
Charlotte County was indeed negligent. Living here in North Port and knowing the area it's shocking that this car was not spotted way sooner. It's gut-wrenching to think had that last 911 call been properly handled, this might have turned out way differently.
They found the car 7 hours after?!? That is absolutely shocking.
