Mistletoe, eggnog, stacks of presents, the nativity and jolly old saint nick. These are just a few images that come to mind when we think of Christmas. Over the generations we have become accustomed to these traditions and iconic archetypes but what if there is more to it? What if underneath all of these layers of traditions are other stories and other origins. Could it be possible that perhaps dreams and liminal states were at play when these original stories were conceived?
