Jazz flutist and composer Stefan Bracaval joins Flute Space to talk about flute in jazz, importance of improvisation and how to combine different concepts and ensembles, meanwhile piecing together alto and bass flute in the big puzzle.
Graduating as a classical flutist, he went compelled to explore the freedom and creativity of improvisation in jazz. Gigging, performing and recording, Stefan Bracaval has an extensive career. We are delighted to share his new CD, “Éphémère” together with pianist and collaborator Pierre Anckaert.
