The Flyers are in a playoff spot after one month, without much from Matvei Michkov | PHLY Flyers
Description
The puck dropped on the NHL season on October 7th. One month later, the Philadelphia Flyers are in an Eastern Conference playoff spot! Dan Vladar has been mostly very good, Trevor Zegras looks like a star, Cam York, Noah Cates, Bobby Brink and Tyson Foerster (prior to the injury) all look like they’re taking steps in their careers, and pretty much all is well for Rick Tocchet’s squad. Except for the Matvei Michkov of it all. Philly’s sophomore winger is off to a disappointing start.
Today, Charlie & Bill discuss how the Flyers are adapting to Rick Tocchet’s style, how they can generate more shots on goal, the successes of Danny Briere’s summer moves, and what we’ve seen from Michkov, positive and negative.
