In this episode of The Future of Retail, I interviewed Michelle Silverstein and Jaclyn Grauman, the founders of The Verticale, a virtual mall for purpose-driven digital brands.  

The Verticale is a digital retailer for the new era of consumerism where people can discover innovative, value-driven brands (DTC/DNVBs) – in one trusted place. The founders dynamic approach merges content and commerce, bringing the consumer a new shopping experience centered around newness, brand affinity, and conscious consumerism. 

Shoppers can discover and cross-shop brands across multiple categories and buy in one seamless checkout experience. They can also filter brands by specific values, such as diversity, clean, ethical, waste reduction, etc.  

The Verticale was recently accepted in one of New York's most prestigious start-up accelerators, Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator, where Jaclyn and Michelle received a $100K grant to accelerate their development.
