Welcome back to season two of Ambitious Odyssey! I can’t believe we are on season two; this podcast was just an idea which started in my bedroom and I never thought that I would be able to speak and connect with people from all over. I am back after some time to talk about a critical issue that needs to be talked about more and who better to do this with than Haleema! Haleema is the first-ever repeat guest at Ambitious Odyssey. If you haven’t checked out our last episode please do as it was extremely compelling to talk to her about a wide range of topics. On episode 11, me and Haleema, who works for the NHS talk about how the government is not doing enough to support NHS staff who are on the frontline of the COVID-19 pandemic. From PPE shortages to having testing in place for staff, the government is lacking in supporting the NHS staff and its' frontline staff. We feel that this matter is of extreme urgency and together we decided to raise awareness and shine some light on the issue.
