The party realizes that there is something to the trial. Each item that was found by the orphans/party somehow got imprinted magically on the hieroglyph above certain cave entrances. The trial they're embarking on is the sword, but as they take a turn into the catacombs, they realize that this particular trial isn't as easy as they thought.
