The Heart of a Warrior: A Father's Legacy of Strength, Love, and Change
Description
Many thousands of years ago, under a full moon, a mother gave birth to her first child. It was a very long labor and a painful birth.
But the baby was healthy and crying when he finally entered the world. His mother was exhausted and fell into a deep sleep as soon as the birth was over. Unfortunately, she passed away, suffering from blood loss.
The father of the child was devasted. While he had many wives as was custom on those days, this was by far his favorite. They had a deep connection that he cherished and loved.
At first, he was angry with the child and blamed him for taking away his beloved. But he soon noticed that the child's personality was similar to his mother.
He found comfort and solace in being around the baby and seeing his bright, shinning eyes. Inquisitive and exploring this new world he had been born into.
A niece of the family stepped in to help raise the baby and give him the milk he needed. The niece had her own baby that was almost 9 months old now and so the timing was perfect for the new born to get her milk.
She treated him like her own. Families were always very close and looked after each other. It was the only way to survive in a tough world where dangers lay around every corner.
Death was ever present and so the community had to step up and look after each other whenever the occasion rose. The young child grew quickly. He was strong and swift.
His father was proud and said he would be a fierce warrior one day. He would out run and outsmart everyone when the time came to become a man.
And sure enough, the young boy was one of the cleverest amongst the others of similar age to him and even older. Despite not having a mother, the niece had looked after him and was always there for him when he needed.
But mostly, his father was teaching him everything he knew. As time went on, the father grew old and weary. He had fought many battles against animal and men. He had injuries that were starting to slow him down now.
Soon, he would not be able to hunt with the others. He hated the thought of not being able to contribute to the community. To not be the hunter he once was.
But his brother and good friend, Threpolis, reminded him that his knowledge was of great importance to the tribe. It was important that he shared his knowledge and stories with the youngsters.
Share their traditions and the wisdom of his years of experience. But the world was changing and the father was not so sure that what he knew was still relevant in this new age of time.
The hunting party seemed to have to travel further and further away from their home in order to find food. This made it more dangerous and they came across new tribes, some friendly and some hardened warriors.
They came across new animals they had not seen before. These were dangerous and they had to work out not only how to stay safe from them but how to kill them too. It was a whole new learning process.
But still, the father did have many skills that he shared. One of his best skills was negotiating with other tribes that seemed to start out as enemies. But the father always managed to win them around without a fight.
In his youth, he would always strike first. Hard and fast and with devastating violence. This got him what he wanted. But now, times had changed and he could no longer be the warrior he once was.
And so he had to evolve. He had to see things in a different way. He had to see his enemies as his friend now. He had to see them deeply. He had to send them unconditional love from his big heart.
And he noticed that when he did this, people responded well back to him. The interesting thing was that he seemed to be the only person they would respond to.
When other tribes tried to trade they would end up in a big fight and many of them would be killed. But with the father, there was something different about him.
Indeed, it was about his heart. The fact that he was a high vibrational being. There was something about this energy that everyone responded to. Even animals would not attack him but be drawn to him.
Once, there was a story of when a Sabre tooth tiger walked right up to him and purred. It did not try to attack or eat him. The tiger was drawn to him and lay down at his feet and rolled on his back.
No one had ever seen anything like this before. The father taught this to his son. Taught him to put his hand on the top of his chest. To not live in fear of anything.
But to love everything and everyone unconditionally. This means, that if they respond back to you with hate and anger, continue to respond to them with love.
They will come round he said. Maintain your focus on this high frequency. Imagine your heart expanding and getting bigger and bigger. Close your eyes, imagine your chest expanding hugely.
Your heart expanded in the space that was made for it. This is your super power he would explain to his son. Use it wisely for it will get your out of many sticky situations.
Remember also, he would tell him, to let go of anything that has happened in your past when you get into this high vibrational state. For your past will always hold you back.
There is always a story from your past to tell you that this won't work. That you have to fight. But do not let those past stories ruin or dictate your future. Your super power is your heart.
It will always be that. Be aware when you try and sabotage a situation based on your past experience or even on other people's passed experienced. There is a first time for everything.
Be the person that does those things for the first time. Maybe it is speaking to a dangerous pride of lions and asking them to leave you and your loved ones alone for the night.
“Allow us to all see the morning. Go and hunt some other animals. We wish to be left alone”. He would thank them and send them love". He would send kind thoughts to them.
He would send them understanding. More often than not, this little ritual of the father’s would work and the lions would appear to get bored and wonder off, back into the jungle to find another victim for them to feast on.
It was a good and fascinating lesson. They boy practiced this every day. That being in high vibration. When little things don't annoy you because in reality, they are insignificant.
He would just sit there and imagine his body filling with bright light and imagine his heart expanding full of love. Try this yourself, especially when in the face of hardship or enemies. Send them love and notice what happens.
Note: Please do not walk up to a lion and expect it to roll on its back and purr like a cat. I still need to test this theory :)
I’d love a quick like and restack to help reach and help more people that need it.
