The KYW Newsradio All-Local: Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025 (Morning):

The largest indictment in nearly a century from the office of the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
That’s how local and federal authorities described the takedown of a massive drug operation in Kensington on Friday morning.
Police said the more than 30 people indicted were participating in a nearly decade-long conspiracy to distribute fentanyl, heroin, and crack and powder cocaine. KYW’ Newsradio's Nigel Thompson has the details.

Polls are open Saturday for early in-person voting in New Jersey. They're open every day through next Sunday, Nov. 2. The governor’s race is on top of the ticket, and all of the general assembly seats are on the ballot. KYW Newsradio's South Jersey reporter Mike Dougherty has a preview.

The Department of Justice says they will send federal election observers to New Jersey at the request of the state Republican Party ahead of next month's election. Republicans say federal intervention is necessary to ensure an accurate vote count, citing previous cases of voter fraud. The DOJ will monitor polling sites in Passaic County in North Jersey, where two city councilmen are accused of orchestrating a mail-in ballot scheme back in 2020. Passaic County is heavily Latino, but the longtime Democratic stronghold went for Trump in last year's presidential race. The New Jersey Attorney General's Office calls the DOJ's efforts "highly inappropriate for the federal government to interfere" in the election. DOJ is also planning to monitor polling sites in parts of California.

Police in Montgomery County are investigating reports that someone may be leaving screws in driveways in an act of apparent vandalism. Abington Township police officers say they've received multiple reports in the Ardsley neighborhood. They say the one thing all those homes have in common is that they have what they describe as "certain political signs" in the yard. They did not elaborate on what those signs were, or if they favor one political point of view or another. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Abington Police Department.

There's a new docuseries about one of the most beloved professional athletes in Philadelphia history. It's called "ALLEN IV3RSON," with the guard's famous number-3 replacing the "e" in Iverson. Dave Uram spoke with the filmmaker.
