The Legend of Goatman's Bridge
Description
SCARED TO DEATH IS EXPLICIT IN EVERY WAY. PLEASE TAKE CARE WHILE LISTENING.
Dan's first story is about one of the subjects that creeps people out the most and, like with the doll story last week, it’s something we haven’t talked about much recently: Dopplegangers. A young man has been haunted by SOMETHING at his family’s Montana lake cabin for many years. The second story is the Legend of Goatman’s Bridge. Who or what is the Goatman and how did he - or it - come to haunt a little rural area of Texas? Lynze's first story is a WILD one about a possible glitch in the matrix!! Then, with hunting season upon us, a bizarre story about a women in the woods.
New Merch: Awesome new collections in the store! Joining Mothman in the store this week is his hot sister "mothwoman". She's so dang cute, we put her on a notebook and pint glass in addition to a tee and long sleeve option. Logan put a nice little butt on her so I think I definitely need to order one of these for myself. And we have another collection! A new Cool, Interesting, & Wild tee design sent in by creeper Meredith Messigner. We put it on a tee, tumbler, & notebook! Thanks for sending that in Meredith. badmagicmerch.com
Bad Magic Productions Monthly Patreon Donation: https://www.kidsrockcancer.org/ This month, we are making a yet to be determined donation to Kids Rock Cancer, in St. Louis, in honor of Jeff Burton. Jeff Burton was a long time staple on The Rizzuto Show, a show that has supported Dan and Timesuck and Bad Magic for a long time. Jeff recently passed away after a grueling fight against cancer. Even while Jeff was fighting for his life, he made it a priority to raise money for Kids Rock Cancer. Kids Rock Caner is an innovative program that helps children successfully cope with the unique emotional challenges that accompany a cancer diagnosis. Through the proven healing power of music therapy, Kids Rock Cancer helps children combat feelings of anxiety, depression, uncertainty and helplessness. Jeff was just 55 years old. He is survived by his wife, Juli and their two daughters, Abby and Casey.
Standup: If you want to see a very different side of Dan than you see here and possibly see Lynze in the crowd, his Symphony of Insanity standup tour will be back this fall. Go to dancummins.tvfor ticket links to shows in Palm Beach, Austin, Boston, Portland and MORE!!

Opening Sumerian protection spell (adapted):
"Whether thou art a ghost that hath come from the earth, or a phantom of night that hath no home… or one that lieth dead in the desert… or a ghost unburied… or a demon or a ghoul… Whatever thou be until thou art removed… thou shalt find here no water to drink… Thou shalt not stretch forth thy hand to our own… Into our house enter thou not. Through our fence, breakthrough thou not… we are protected though we may be frightened. Our life you may not steal, though we may feel SCARED TO DEATH."
