One of the main ingredients in the workplace that needs to be cultivated is our ability to accept coaching and feedback professionally and thoughtfully. Most people have never been taught how to seek and or accept feedback; therefore, a typical reaction in the workplace to feedback is whether people agree or disagree with the feedback. This leads to dangerous interactions in the workplace when in fact the role of accepting feedback isn't to agree or disagree, rather it's too take away what can be learned.

The episode teaches three core strategies of questioning techniques that can enable people to go into a learning mode immediately versus  an agree or disagree mode after receiving feedback and coaching.
