The Perfectionist Trap: Why High Achieving Women Think They're Failing (with Dr. Anne Welsh)
Description
This episode, Megan & Jennifer are joined by Dr. Anne Welsh to talk about what a lot of women experience at work and home: the perfectionist trap. They also dive into why this leads to women thinking they are constantly failing, and Dr. Welsh turns the idea of ambition on its head.
Anne is a licensed clinical psychologist with a doctorate in counseling psychology. She had stints at Harvard, Cambridge and the University of New Hampshire. She runs her own executive coaching and leadership consulting company with a focus on professional working parents. She is a clinical psychologist with an active private practice and a certification in Perinatal Mental Health, a certified executive & leadership coach, a RETAIN™ certified parental leave coach, and a consultant that addresses working parent policy at the corporate level.
