This is the first in a series of twelve episodes to accompany the exhibition ‘The Persecution of the Jews in Photographs: The Netherlands, 1940-1945’, which was on view in 2019 at the National Holocaust Museum in Amsterdam and the Topography of Terror in Berlin. This podcast series focuses on the Ten Stages of Genocide as drawn up by American law professor Gregory Stanton. You’ll hear experts from the Jewish Cultural Quarter and NIOD, followed by people who have survived the persecution, in excerpts from the interview project ‘Two Thousand Witnesses Tell Their Stories’. This podcast series is produced by Caspar Stalenhoef, written by Caspar Stalenhoef and Inger Schaap, and narrated by Mikey Casalaina.
