Has the author not heard of Andrew Yang or read his book, The War on Normal People? Wealth tax doesn’t seem to be the best solution. Hundreds of economists at the latest PIIE conference agree on a VAT being more effective, and essentially laughed at Warren’s idea.

As a proud liberal, I must say this 'name mispronunciation as white supremacy' argument is silly and a distraction from real issues. As a white man with an unusual last name, white people and people of color always mispronounce my last name. Literally no one gets it right. Who cares. Even my first name, Trevor. Hispanic people sometimes call me Travis instead without my permission. I don't care. It's. Just. A. Name. . .Immigrants and people of color with immigrant families frequently mispronounce my first name. They struggle because English isn't their native language. The same thing happens to white people with foreign names. They're difficult for some to wrap their tongues around. No. Big. Deal. Get over it. It's not a consequential expression of white supremacy.

The interview with Anand is a gift to humanity, really, a wondrously just world view through prosecutor question prism that makes delivery more balanced. Buying the book! I'll take 100 interviews with Anand over one with Conway, no offense. Also. I never wanted to be a billionaire and taking advice on this show into consideration is about as much different i could handle at this juncture. :) Thank you, Preet!
