Our guest is Dr Muddassar Rashid, an Experimental Physicist and Postdoctoral Researcher. 

He completed his undergraduate studies in Physics at University College London. He undertook a specialised MSc in Photon Science from the University of Manchester, before completing his PhD in Physics from the University of Southampton. Dr Muddassar continued on as a postdoctoral researcher, working on rotational optomechanics and novel measurement schemes in levitated systems. He then joined King's in 2019 to work in the Photonics & Nanotechnology group, focussing predominantly on levitated electromechanics for studies in nano-thermodynamics. He was the former chairman of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Research Association (AMRA). 

We discuss the realm of Quantum Physics and attempt to understand the application of these theories to our everyday life.
