Description

Virginia Burton has been featured on the Today Show, Komo News' "Eric's Heroes", Kiro-7 and across the nation and globe for her incredible story about overcoming a life of drug addiction in her forty's. She graduated from the University of Washington as Washington State's 2020 Truman Scholar and on the All Academics Team!

Ginny is the true definition of resilience and in part one of this two-part series I get the chance to connect with her and hear the real on her way to resilience. In this episode, Ginny explains how drugs were introduced to her at a very young age and how through many suicide attempts and multiple incarcerations she found the accountability she needed. She describes what it felt like to climb up from rock bottom and summit to her healing and beyond.

Continue listening to part two of the series for the details of her triumph and how she's making an impact now.
