Square Records opened August 9th 2003 in the Highland Square area of Akron, Ohio, former rubber capital of the world. We're proud to be part of the unique music and art scene in our home city. Our specialty is new music from independent artists and labels with our main focus on rock. However, we continue to extend our selection into experimental/noise/hip-hop/jazz/classic r&b/soul music, music DVDs and magazines. Square is also the best place in Akron to find vinyl in all genres. New inventory comes in every week and if you are in a local band, we will happily sell your CD/record on consignment.
