While the brain is important... It's only if you look at the brain as concrete that the brain becomes more important than the mind... Once you realize that the mind is flexible (neuroplasticity)... Then the "software" becomes a lot more important, because the software (the mind) actually changes the way the brain functions and its structures.... So the brain is only more important than the mind of you see the brain as static or concrete and that the software only runs according to what the brain tells it, instead of seeing that the software programming (the mind) changes the way the hardware (the brain) is structured and functioning.... I feel like what this doctor says at the beginning is very misleading and overlooks neuroplasticity and the brains ability to change its structure and function, but the mind is what programs that structure and functioning.
