the tick needing to be on you for 36 hours is BS. i have Lyme and I'm on several online communities and the reality does not fit the so-called "facts" the CDC spits out. the tick doesn't know time.. if it vomits in you an hour in, then your bactertia load will be higher. don't get me started.. and if you think chronic lyme doesn't exist or that Lyme is cured with a month of antibiotics, then look up "borrelia persists despite Antibiotics" for hundreds of studies. if you get it treated fast enough or if your immune system is good, then you might not have to worry about that. 9

Keep in mind the 36 hour window starts from first attachment on anything, not per "victim". This means tick could attach to Patient A, be scratched off, attaches to patient B 24 hours later. The Lyme infection is only 12 hours away from making it's way in.

Why not extend the season on white tailed mice and voles or better yet, extend the season on people that have Lyme disease?

White tailed mice, voles, etc., not deer, are primary means of spreading lyme disease. Need more owls and hawks and coyotes, etc. to keep vermin numbers lower.
