Description
When splinters from an evil troll's mirror enter Kay's eye and heart, he becomes cruel and is abducted by the Snow Queen. Gerda embarks on a long and perilous journey to find him, encountering various helpful and hindering characters. She braves magical flower gardens, deceptive crows, robber girls, helpful pigeons and reindeer, Lapland and Finnish women. Gerda eventually reaches the Snow Queen's ice palace, where her tears of love melt Kay's frozen heart and remove the glass shard. Together, they complete the puzzle of "Eternity" and return home, transformed into adults but with their childlike innocence restored.
