Season 16, Episode 43 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right into talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers acquiring S Kyle Dugger from the New England Patriots via a Tuesday trade.

Alex and I discuss why the Patriots likely traded Dugger, why the Steelers wanted to trade for him, and how the new safety will likely fit in the defense moving forward. Alex and I go over what the tape says about Dugger and much more.

The Steelers have made quite a few transactions since our Monday show, so Alex and I recap the recent cuts and additions. We also discuss the recent injuries the Steelers sustained that will result in at least two defensive players, S DeShon Elliott and DL Daniel Ekuale, being placed on the Reserve/Injured list this week. We also discuss the possibility of Elliott returning from his knee injury later on in the season.

Will the Steelers ultimately sign free agent WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling? Will the team ultimately trade for a wide receiver prior to next week’s deadline? Alex and I address those two questions in the middle of this show.

Steelers HC Mike Tomlin held his weekly press conference on Tuesday and as usual, Alex and I parse all of the notable talking points that came out of that media session.

With the all-22 tape from the Steelers Sunday night home loss to the Green Bay Packers now fully digested by us, Alex and I discuss the good, bad and ugly that we uncovered. We go over several of the offensive and defensive deficiencies the Steelers have as they are now getting ready to play the Indianapolis Colts at home on Sunday.

Alex and I mix in quite a few stats during this show and we make sure to discuss the recent play of several different players as well.
