Maybe I'm wrong, but if you put malicious intent to the side Gallagher stabbing the teenager in the neck seems like a way to tie up loose ends. What proof does anyone have that the house was actually full of ISIS fighters? If they leveled the house on information that would not have held up it is very plausible, what else would anyone else have done if they had the responsibility of keeping the slate clean?
