Yall need to chill with the music. Such a weird format with all the dramatic crescendos and jumping around the story. It got much better toward the end. Hope the rest of the episodes are like the end of this one. Good story though!
I hate Thomas Randolph
Oof, I accidentally listened to this episode first then completely missed that this was the second one because there was no mention of it. Is there going to be a third episode after this? It kind of ended abruptly.
Not a fan of this format. Unable to listen. Will check back when it's the regular shows.
I agree with the other reviewer. I understand the idea of wanting to play with the show format, and maybe it works for the video version of the show, but it is just not working at all for the podcast. I'm finding it unlistenable and impossible to follow. I'm not even trying to finish the episode, which has never happened to me before with a Dateline podcast episode.
I can appreciate the attempt to play with the usual format of the show but these widower episodes are difficult to listen to. The editing is just terrible. It's just a jumbled mess of soundbites that jump all over the place and it's hard to follow any sort of narrative which is a shame because it's a compelling story.
