Female bestfriends of Tamil heroes are always over-caring, over-loving, and over-concerned. But, male bestfriends of Tamil heroines are only perverted, twisted, and psychopaths. At least this is what Tamil films have shown us largely so far. While everyone deserves the friendship they wish for, it is only the men who get it on screen and women are schooled about how "men are bad" by their boyfriends.
