Meeting on the mountain:
1. The gracious “I AM” is determined to rescue richly! (3:16-22)
2. But messenger Moses is a really reluctant rescuer (4:1-17)
? Unlike Jesus…!
? But quite like us…?

3. Shock 1: Pharaoh won’t budge until Passover night comes
(4:21-23)
o (and that’s part of God’s plan!)
4. Shock 2: No-one is safe without God’s covenant protection
(4:24-26)
